Your language assistant for 2013-2014 :)

Hello IES La Rabida!

My name is Camille and I am your English language assistant for this school year, 2013-2014.

I am from Rochester, New York, in the United States of America. This is my second year in Spain; last year I lived in a town called Coria in Extremadura.

Rochester is in Western New York. It's very close to Niagara Falls, which borders with Canada. However, New York City is on the other side of the state, a good 6-7 hours drive away! 

In May 2012, I graduated with a B.S. degree in Cell and Developmental Biology from the University of Rochester. There, I also studied some Spanish and Latin American literature. I have worked in a research laboratory for a pharmaceutical company, looking for ways to cure age-related diseases and possibly extend human lifespan.

Aside from biology and Spanish, my interests include photography (being from the place where Kodak was founded!! ;) ), music, tennis, horse-back riding, and of course, traveling. 

I'm very proud of my city and my country, so ask me any questions you have and I'll be happy to answer them for you! I'm excited to be here with you. Thank you for welcoming me to Huelva!
